iThenticate is an online plagiarism detection tool assists to identify similar text or statements available in different sources and highlights them in different colours.

Grammarly

Grammarly is an online tool that suggests improving the draft writings of scientific papers on desktops, emails and messages to enhance the communication language with style.

EndNote

EndNote is bibliographic management software that allows you to organize your references and build bibliographies.  Ask the Librarian for more details on the same.

Publish or Perish is a software program that retrieves and analyzes academic citations. It uses Google Scholar to obtain the raw citations, then analyzes these and presents the following statistics:

is a online source to know the serial holdings of over 500 libraries of major universities, S&T institutions, R&D units of industries, institutes like IISc, IITs and professional bodies in the country

Union Catalogue

The site is useful in identifying and locating the biomedical journals that are available in other libraries of India.  Click  to reach the union catalogue of biomedical serials in India

eTBlast

is a unique search engine lets you input an entire paragraph and returns MEDLINE abstracts that are similar to it.  Useful tool to find an expert in a discipline, identifies journals for publishing the paper and shows the history of topic you’re searched in recent years.

Jane 

 Journal/Author Name Estimator (JANE) Jane Journal/Authors a tool for finding the most appropriate journals for submitting a manuscript (primarily for papers covering biomedical and clinical research). This tool allows authors to enter the title and/or abstract of unpublished papers into a text box and find journals that best match.

DOAJ

 The Directory of Open Access Journals (DoAJ) is a listing of open access scholarly journals with full text access in all academic subjects, including health sciences and medicine.
