Asha Nivas
ASHA NIVAS is a Ground plus 12 storied Patient Hostel for accommodation of Patient and the Attendant during their treatment at ACTREC. The Hostel building has individual rooms and dormitory rooms for both patients and their attendants. This Hostel is a boon to the Patients and their Attendants who come from far-away places to Mumbai for treatment.
The Hostel was built and donated by Infosys Foundation under their CSR program in 2021. The Hostel started functioning from April 2021. The Hostel is being maintained by ACTREC.
Rooms are allotted to Patients during the duration of their treatment at ACTREC. Accommodation to patients in General Category are provided on very nominal and subsidized rates. The amenities provided in the rooms are two separate beds (for patient and attendant) with attached toilet & bathroom. The room have spacious balcony. Bedsheets and Pillow Covers are changed on a regular basis. In addition, common Washing Machines, Refrigerators and pure drinking water facilities are also provided. Some AC and Non-AC rooms with additional facilities like individual TV, Fridge, Wifi, etc. are also available. Food for General Category Patients are provided in the First Floor Canteen. For Private Patients and Foreign Nationals, food is provided at the 11 th Floor Cafeteria on chargeable basis.
The allotment of rooms are carried out on referral by the treating Doctors and based on the availability of the rooms/dormitory at any given point of time.
St. Jude Child care centre
St. Jude India ChildCare Centres (St. Judes or SJICC) provides a home away from home for children undergoing cancer treatment. The children up to the age of 15 years both genders are eligible to avail the centre facility.
