The National Research Scholars Meet (NRSM) in Life Sciences, formerly Research Scholars Meets was first organized in the year 2005 with an objective to foster the leadership qualities amongst students and to conduct scientific events by the students with confidence. The NRSM is an annual event organized by the graduate students of ACTREC. The success of the NRSM model is clearly evident from the enthusiastic participation of young researchers from across the country over the past several years. The two days NRSM annual program includes plenary talks by eminent speakers, oral paper presentation and poster presentations, product demonstration, tech talks, brainstorming debates, panel discussions from different disciplines of the life sciences on one platform. The program emphasizes the importance of reading, planning, improvising experiments and focusing on quality data for a successful research career. Every NRSM has a unique concept. The platform provides a great opportunity for students to discuss and understand the latest advances in biological sciences. Simultaneously, it empowers the students in capacity building, organizing the scientific events with confidence and becoming leaders in science and research areas.
