  • Microbiological quality control of laboratory rodent using conventional and molecular techniques
  • Genetic quality control of laboratory rodent using conventional and molecular techniques
  • Establishing human tumor xenografts/ PDX in immune-compromised mice models
  • Comparative pathology/ oncology using histopathological slide reading and interpretation

RESEARCH

Laboratory Animal Facility (LAF) focuses on developing animal models for various human cancers; checking microbiological quality of small laboratory animals by way of conventional medial methods, ELISA methods as well as PCR methods; checking genetic quality of these animals by skin grafting, biochemical markers as well as microsatellite markers; checking T- and B-cell profile of Nude/ SCID/ NSG mice by flow cytometry and by implanting standard human tumors in these mice.
