I joined Shetty Lab at ACTREC as an ICMR Research Scientist II and was later awarded the ANRF-NPDF in 2025. As a postdoctoral fellow in Shetty Lab, I intend to investigate how RNA helicases are involved in translation regulation to check the initiation and progression of liver cancer. My PhD degree is in Applied Biology from ICMR-NIRWoH in 2024. In my doctoral thesis, I identified a novel role of germ cells in testicular tubulogenesis and ovarian vascularization during gonad development and differentiation during embryogenesis in mice, beyond their role in gametogenesis post puberty. I received my master degree in Zoology (Cytogenetics) in 2011 and bachelor’s degree in Zoology (HONS) in 2009 from Banaras Hindu University.
